Annmarie and I were listening to a sermon by Dr. John Piper this evening, and he mentioned a wonderful poem by John Bunyan. Annmarie and I absolutely loved it, so I thought I’d share it here.

“Run, John, run, the law commands,

But gives us neither feet nor hands.

Far better news the Gospel brings;

It bids us fly and gives us wings.”

The sermon was on 1 Peter 2:1-3, by the way.
